OC.Automate update

Calculating...

OC.Automate.LinkedIn is out of beta (and a quick update on the others)

A short one today, but a milestone worth marking.

OC.Automate.LinkedIn has officially left beta.

It's been a steady journey getting it to a point I was happy with, but it's there now. If you've been sitting on the fence waiting for a stable release, this is your sign.

I will say upfront, the setup for LinkedIn is a bit more involved than the others. You'll need to create and configure an API account over on LinkedIn's developer platform before everything clicks into place. It's not the most fun afternoon you'll ever have, but once it's done, you can post directly from Umbraco to LinkedIn without ever leaving the backoffice. Hopefully worth the hassle.

Umbraco 17 and 18 support

While I was at it, I also want to confirm that all three packages in the OC.Automate family are now fully working on both Umbraco 17 and 18.

That's:

  • OC.Automate.LinkedIn — out of beta, ready to go
  • OC.Automate.BlueSky — tested and working
  • OC.Automate.Mastodon — tested and working

With Umbraco 18 recently released, I wanted to make sure everything was in good shape before people start upgrading.

Where to get them

All three packages are available on the Umbraco Marketplace or via Nuget
